When is it? Every Tuesday, without fail.

What is it? Discover stunning cinema. Whether it’s a cult classic, an art-house gem or a riveting documentary, there will always be a chance to see something different and brilliant in our weekly slot.

Like what?  The weekly screenings provide a showcase for a wide variety of film, the slot has to date shown more than 240 different titles. This year the strand has presented some of the year’s best arthouse delights including Kelly Reichardt’s quietly mysterious drama Certain Women, Anne Bilson’s terrific horror pastiche The Love Witch and Academy Award nominated documentary I Am Not Your Negro. Discover Tuesdays gives you the chance to catch films you might have missed entirely on release or would otherwise have never seen on the big screen.

When is it? Sundays!

What is it? Classic films back to the big screen where they belong.

Like what? We started the year with a knockout lineup of films as part of our Scorsese / De Niro season, before a Jack Nicholson retrospective to honour the iconic actor’s 80th birthday. On the horizon is Woody Allen’s Manhattan, Fellini’s La Strada and Stephen Frear’s My Beautiful Laundrette, which screens as part of Criminal Acts: A Charged Past. They don’t make ’em like they used to.
