London’s Favourite French Film 2016 And The Premiere Of One Man And His Cow

The web magazine FranceInLondon.com is proud to announce the 12th edition of London’s Favourite French Film, a gala awards evening to celebrate the contribution of French cinema to London’s cultural scene. An online vote is already underway. On 22 September 2016 a VIP awards night and the premiere of Mohamed Hamidi’s One Man And His Cow, starring Fatsah Bouyahmed, Lambert Wilson and Jamel Debbouze, will be held at Picturehouse Central.

Cinemagoers are invited to vote online for their favourite French films of the year and will have the chance to win tons of prizes, including all-inclusive holidays, cosmetics and dinners for two. There are 33 French films in the running this year – which ones will receive your votes? Will it be The Bélier Family, which attracted more than seven million cinemagoers when it was released in France last year? Or Mustang, which was nominated at the 2016 Oscars for Best Foreign Language Film and won four César? Perhaps you preferred Jacques Audiard’s latest film Dheepan, which tells the powerful story of a ‘family’ of Sri-Lankan refugees, or Catherine Frot’s interpretation of Florence Foster Jenkins’ uncommon life in Marguerite. The choice is yours. Vote now at www.franceinlondon.com.

On 22 September, film distributors and directors will be present to collect their awards at the gala night. The awards ceremony will be followed by the exclusive UK premiere of One Man And His Cow, which will include a Champagne reception and an amazing after-party. You can buy your tickets on Picturehouse Central’s website or at the Box Office.

Under the patronage of H.E. Sylvie Bermann, French Ambassador to the UK. All profits to Cancer Research UK.

Tickets are £45 (all-inclusive). They include the Champagne reception, awards ceremony, UK premiere of One Man And His Cow, cheese and wine after-party with DJ Sacha Dieu and very generous goodie bags.
