Central DOCS Club Negative

Documentaries pose so many interesting questions, whether about their form or their subject matter. We’ve started the Central Docs Club at Picturehouse Central as a forum to talk about the latest documentaries that we think are the most captivating. Screenings are on sale now and can be booked here.

We’ve partnered with our friends at The 405 Film Podcast, who will be joining us at the Docs Club shows.

The 405 Film Podcast is your new best friend. It’s there for the good films and the bad, the WTF and the OMG. Fronted by Siân Melton (founder of The MUFF Society, @sharnacious) and Adam Libonatti-Roche (The Drum, @baconchin), The 405 Film Podcast is a 30-minute slice of film cake – really good cake. The sort of cake you’d find in the Picturehouse Central café.

All are welcome to Central Docs Club shows – just buy a ticket for the film and stick around for an informal discussion afterwards, and possibly a drink in the bar too!

Coming up next at Central Docs Club, we can’t wait to get into the world of the incredible new doc Author: The JT LeRoy Story, about the greatest literary hoax of our time. Join the Picturehouse Docs team and The 405 Film Podcast to pick apart this remarkable story on Monday 1 August, 6.30.

Coming soon to Central Docs Club…
