Tickets are now on sale for Ricky Gervais’s David Brent: Life On The Road, in cinemas from 19 August.
Since deluded sales rep David Brent (Gervais) left the superb BBC sitcom The Office, he’s decided to follow his dream of rock stardom by touring with his frankly no-hoper band, Foregone Conclusion. Brent believes that filming their self-financed plod between predictably miserable gigs at working men’s clubs will guarantee their legendary status. The ensuing mockumentary delivers a plethora of the cringe-inducing moments that made the TV series such a hit.
We are offering two people the opportunity to take some time out and live life on the road, David Brent-style. This includes a three-night tour of Berkshire, taking in Slough, Reading and Bracknell (one night in a three-star hotel in each place); £25 towards service-station snacks; £100 towards a night out on the razzle; £75 fuel allowance; a jelly mould to wind up your colleagues when you return to the office; and a David Brent: Life On The Road merchandise pack including a signed poster.
To enter, simply book your ticket to David Brent: Life On The Road and email your booking confirmation number to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Free Love Freeway’ in the subject line and a contact telephone number to call in case you win!
The competition closes at midnight on Sunday 21 August. One winner will be selected at random on Monday 22 August. Subject to Picturehouse Cinemas’ terms and conditions.
