Life hits cinemas this Friday. Directed by Anton Corbijn, the film gives us a glimpse into the life of actor James Dean (Dane DeHaan) as he was on the cusp of stardom in 1955. Dean’s tormented glamour was captured by photographer Dennis Stock (Robert Pattinson) in a series of striking pictures for Life magazine, which helped to cement his lightning-in-a-bottle iconic status.
To celebrate, we’re giving away three copies of Dennis Stock: James Dean, a collection of photographs whose celebrity is almost as great as their subject’s. The book features an introduction by Joe Hyams and accompanying text by Stock himself. We’re also giving away a signed Anton Corbijn poster.
For a chance to win a copy of the book, send the title of James Dean’s first credited film to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘James Dean’ in the subject line. To compete for a copy of the book and the signed poster, send us the title of his first uncredited film.
The competition closes at midnight on Wednesday 30 September. Standard terms and conditions apply.
