Flick's Flicks

Flick’s Flicks – August 2015

Join Felicity Beckett at Duke of York’s Picturehouse in Brighton for previews of some of the best films August has to offer including hipster comedy Mistress America, Andrew Haigh’s critically-acclaimed 45 Years and coming-of-age drama The Diary of a Teenage Girl.

Documentary is being heralded more and more as a craft and discipline out on its own. Over recent years we have been presented with some extraordinary examples of the genre from Capturing the Friedmans to The Imposter and now The Wolfpack. Some of the brothers are touring with the film and we are lucky enough to host Q&A screenings at Duke of York’s (Thu 13 Aug, 8.40), Arts Picturehouse, Cambridge (Fri 14 Aug, 7.00) and the London Premiere at Picturehouse Central (Wed 12 Aug, 6.30)
