HOCKNEY iPad Art Competition – The Results!

To celebrate the release of HOCKNEY, we invited you to create your own iPad art using any app of your choice. The winners had their artwork shown on cinema screens around the UK before an exclusive preview and live satellite Q&A with David Hockney from his L.A. studio.

We had so many fantastic entries, and the panel of judges – filmmakers Randall Wright and Kate Ogborn, and the Telegraph’s Arts Editor-in-Chief Sarah Crompton – had some incredibly difficult decisions to make. Below are the images from the very talented winners.

HOCKNEY is the definitive exploration of one of the most important artists of his generation. For the first time, David Hockney has given unprecedented access to his personal archive of photographs and films, resulting in a frank and unparalleled visual diary of his long life.

Acclaimed filmmaker Randall Wright offers a unique view of this unconventional artist who is now reaching new peaks of popularity worldwide. As charismatic as ever, at 77 years old he is still working in the studio seven days a week.

HOCKNEY is now available to buy on DVD
